Flashing a 6630 in Northern America ?

Hi !

I need to upgrade my 6630 Firmware (I have the old 2.39.15 RM-1). The phone IS PROPERLY UNLOCKED and is still under warranty.

Problem is Nokia Canada does not want/is not able to flash it because the phone was bought in Europe before I moved to Northern America. I expect I would have the same problem with Nokia US. So long for the so called "international firms"...

Since they do not seem to understand that I'm not willing to flight across the Atlantic to one of their european customer center, what option do I have to upgrade my phone ?

This is driving me nuts, I'm willing to do anything possible to fix my phone, even flashing it myself even if it's illegal.

There HAS to be a way for me to upgrade my phone, it's less than a year old and I got all the proper stuff (bill, accessories, ...).

Please help me !!!

Don't bring it to Nokia. Local unlocker/flashing should be able to do it 😉
But, for N6630, u must visit Nokia to get it 2b unlock since N6630 is a BB5 phone.
