Nokia N90 Firmware help

My Nokia N90 keeps crashing every now and then, i was wondering if my firmware was updated to the latest version, i havent got a clue how to find out and also i would like to know if anyone else has had the problem, it also slows right down to a stop sometimes, hangs for ages in the gallery a lot while loading thumbnails and then when i go back into them it doesnt actually remember them anyway.
Isnt it weird how it has to create thumbnails in a special folder heh.
thanks for any replies in advance:icon14:

I have a nokia N90 as well. I find that the memory of the N90 runs out quickly, ie when someone call the ram slow runs out. even though the phone has 48mB rams. i usually reset the phone by myself when the phone is running slow. use sysman or appman to check. while making a call use sysman to check the rams and you will see it slowly go down. i'm waiting for a firmware update too.

Me too. I took phone back within 3 days for exchange and now this one is doing it, but 6 months later. Also, my front screen that use to have my gallery choice, goes white until I reboot N90. I went to nokiausa.com and you can check if you're under warranty. You pay to send it in and they pay to send it back. I was going to, but don't want to part with phone. So I sync'd all my data with Mac and bluetoothed all jpgs to Mac desktop and reset phone to original phone settings in tools, phone, general. Also, trying to save everything to sim to see if this frees up memory. Now I will see if I was creating the problem with too many big pics, preferences, etc Most likely memory crash; it's a little PC. Still, the best phone in the world; love symbian, love my Nokia N90!
*UPDATE: after saving everything to my PC & memory card, and reseting phone to default, I have had absolutely no problem with my N90 whatsoever!
Once again, operator error. Too much going on and not enough memory to handle large pics on front screen and inside screen; keep them under 50kb.
This saved me sending it in, and them not knowing what's wrong either.
