Will a higher capacity MMC slow down the N70 ?

I have the 64 MB memory card and thinking of buying a 512 MB or even a 1GB MMC. I heard that the 1 GB MMC slows down the N70, is that true ??? What do you guys recommend ?

Well, i've found it doesn't slow it down much. BUT forget ever using the Gallery again. The way the gallery works is it searches your whooole memory card, so if like me, you have about 850mb of music on there, it has to search through all that. So if I go on the Gallery it takes about 2 minutes to load. So I just go through it using FExplorer instead.

Yeah i guess the higher the memory, the more stuff you have stored, which means slower.
Thanks for the replies.

I have a 1gb card in my N70 aswell. It don't slow down the phone even not when you have a theme running from the MMC. When your MMC is more full it will take longer to open for example the gallery map.
But what I think is, how more space free on your phone memory the faster it goes. So I stuff almost everything on that card and it works great.

Kingston and MMemory have really slow transfer rates compared to ATP 1gb card.

Slow transfer rates will make your n70 slower. ATP is 99usd while others are 50usd. I have a ATP 1gb, actually seems a little faster.
