Am i doing it wrongly? Midis

Hello everyone, I just bought my 6600 and Im in need of some help.

I was trying to to use the midi files that i have transfered in my MMC card as ring tones, but they dont seem to work, it shows the file is playing but i cant hear anything. This is what I did

1) Transfer midis to MMC card
2) use FExplorer to transfer the midis to E:\Sounds\Digital
3) Tried opening the file using Recorder, no sound at all

So, did i do anything wrong here? I really someone can help me out.

Believing that, because of the # of polys in your MIDI. If not mistaken, this 6600 is 20 polyphonic. Means, can't play those 40 poly or 64 poly? i.e. conversion might be a need here.

Another possibility is that, the volume is set to minimum? Hence no sound?
