Article now removed because not UIQ 3!

I am not sure whether these K800/K790 are really using UIQ 3 or not because :-

i- Symbian & UIQ is not mentioned in the press release
ii- Both Symbian and UIQ websites have no news about K700/K790
iii- Mobile-Review.Com also DID not mention about UIQ and Symbian in their review .

But if it's true, I think UIQ 3 now has a great line-up. The only question is WHEN can we see them in retail? Because the P990 is keep on delayed and delayed...

Cheers!

Does it say "touch screen" somewhere?! :con?

So are these the first UIQ3-phones without touch screen?

=)juha

I'm checking this now (I'm afarid I just made an assumption). Clues for UIQ 3 are the screen size, the try and buy applications, the RSS feed reader (though this is found on other SE phones I think), the push email system (single biggest pointer I think), the actual screen shots (compare them the other other UIQ 3 phones) - look at top icons plus soft keys.

and yes this would be the first non touch screen UIQ 3 phone.

Here's hoping I haven't made a big mistake...!

Looks like these are not UIQ.

Looks like I dropped the ball here. Sorry everyone. Look before you leap I guess.

The signal strength icons are different between these and the W950 - these look more like the "old" SE interface.
