N70 and Tom Tom

Hi there. I'm new to this forum and would like a little help. A friend of mine told me that I could get Tom Tom for my new N70 and that I would need to get a Bluetooth GPS Receiver and some software.

I have just received the GPS Receiver - bought on eBay for 45 (Is that good?) but am not sure where to find the software or how much it will cost.

Can anybody help? I have a 1gb memory card in the phone so have plenty of space to install it.

Thanks a lot.

Hey guys. Anybody about that can help?

I'm actually not bothered whether I use Tom Tom or not - any route finder will do. I've seen Route 66 mentioned a few times, is this better/cheaper/easier to use at all?

Tomtom is a bit hit and miss on a n70.Some people will swear blind it works perfectly and others like me cant get it to work reliable and consistent. So i would certainly read this forum before buying tomtom.

Btw cant help with route66 but i do know its more basic than tomtom so might work better on a n70 but again do your research before buying or better still try before you buy.

Now with the now update to 5.2 it seems all better for the Nseries phones. But go to the big TomTom thread and ask of read it there. I'm sure you'll find what you want to know
