6630 Memory Card corrupted :(

Hi Guys,
I stumbled across your forum and think its great!! I've done a quick search - but couldn't find anything related to my problem...
you see a little while ago my memory card got corrupted :frown:

I have no idea how it happened - my only explanation was that perhaps a virus got in when bluetooth was on or something?! I really don't know!!
Anyway - there's quite a few files i'd love to get back if possible, so wondered if there was a way (in simple terms pls!!) of recovering what was on there?!

I know a few ppl have said to format it, but don't want to lose everything if i can help it...also - what does MMC stand for?! I assume its some kinda memory card!?

Sorry if that's a daft question!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated tho!! Thanks for your time guys!!

MMC = MultiMedia Card

You could buy and try an USB card reader to see if you can get any files off the bad card with a PC.

And don't forget that Windows comes with a CheckDisk function, which may fix the file problem anyway...

Try to use 7tools Partition Manager (a windows software). Install it in ur PC, plug ur MMC to a card reader. Use Partition explorer feature on 7tools to see ur data in MMC. To recovery deleted data in MMC, use F-Recovery Multimedia.
