Are they like usb sticks... kinda like n gage.. you can plug it in on any pc without installing any software... or pc MUST HAVE nokia suite to connect phone to it... wich sucks btw...

Dont know for the N91, but the N70 requires the PC Suite installed... Since the N70 and N91 are from almost the same generation I gues the N91 needs PC Suite to... But i'm not sure.
The S60 3rd Edition phones (like the N91) have, so called, USB mass storage class support, and for just file transfer connectivity via USB do not need any drivers/PC Suite.
You will need the drivers/PC Suite for synchronization & other PC Suite functionality (like software installer, messaging support, etc.).
