PhoneScoop have put up a news piece delving into the FCC database, revealing a stripped down Nokia E61, dubbed the E62, without 3G/Wi-Fi, push email or Pop-Port. Hopefully we'll have more confirmations and details shortly...

Read on in the full article.

MiniUSB is a nice addition! Who needs PopPort anyway?? MyOwn key is really nice also...

PushEmail is overrated. I can understand missing UMTS if this is geared towards USA... But who the #&% took out WiFi?? :con?

Not for me... I just want to get my e61 soon!!

=)juha

The E61 should work fine in the US - it's supposed to be 850/900/1800 and 1900 MHz GSM.

Hi All! I was wondering if the E62 would work in Asia since I'm under the impression that the unit is specifically tailored or "locked" with Cingular USA. If I somehow get the subsidy lock from Cingular, would the phone work in the Philippines? The carriers here do use the GSM900/GSM1800 band. Thank you!
