N70 Bluetooth Issues --- Just made a discovery, I think !

Evening All,

having contributed to the great Tom Tom 5.2 on N70 debate, and coming to the ultimate conclusion that as long as you reboot phone immediately prior to launching Tom Tom application (after deleting any Bluetooth pairings) and as long as you let Tom Tom pair your bluetooth GPS receiver everything is fine and stable.

I was just in the process of sending some files via Bluetooth from my computer (Mac G5 dual processor) to my N70 when on first attempt it just hung after pressing to accept data from the comp on phone and eventually timed out.... Well well I thought, lets reboot phone and see what happens...???

Result) You guessed perfect, very quick bluetooth connection between the phone and computer enabling quick & seemless transfer of files.

Hardly a conclusive test but, in my humble opinion at least, there seems to be some odd bluetooth issue when the phone has been running, which rebooting fixes, as before I am inclined to think its a memory leak issue...

Not ideal but at least it appears able to be worked around.

Nick

I have a bluetooth issue when i'm using my bluetooth head set if I disconect by switching of the head set the phone will freeze when opening apps I will then have to reboot the phone,if I disconect via the bluetooth menu all works ok
