hi!
Well, i dont know shit about mobilephones, but i got the p800 today.
I have 2 question, because there were no instruction manual included.
1. How do i take this damn cover off?
2. Where do i download software for my PC, so i can transfer media files to the p800?
Hope someone can help.
First question: WHERE DID YOU GET IT 😮 ???
Second Question: why didn't it come with a manual?
Third Question: Didn't it come with a CD containing a load of software???
As far as I know, there isn't a lot of P800 software available, even none I presume, since it hasn't been officially released....
well, one in my family have good connections.. 😊
But, no CD or manual was included 😞
Next question dose your Family member want to earn so money and get me one, name your price.
On the other hand you will not be able to DL any software yet until its released so you could always sell it to me as I am willing to wait, how much
Sorry, they are not allowed to sell them 😞
hmm, the phone is pretty tough without the manual.. and i can't figure out how to removed the keypad.
P800, where you probably have an OS quite full of serious defects, and might even be incompatible with application release for the production version of the P800. Also it probably is not the production hardware, plastics etc, which makes you to make decisions on a production unit, using pre-production quality. And that is not very good is it!?
yay! i managed to get the keypad off.. it just needed a bit violence!
the phones works perfect though.. i havent found anything unstable about it (but ill report in the next couple of days)
Oh, and when you find out how to transfer files to your PC, could you post some pics made with the P800???
sure, ill post alot of pics of the device/menus - but it dont seems like there are any software that i can dl.
but thanx for the manual! 😊
There are Lucky lucky ppl in this world.

Actually, the post is right here
are your P800 is the proto type
cause my also got P800
but Proto
You guys are so lucky to have P800 in hand....
Your P800 all has the lid? Do you need a special tool when you wanna take of its lid? And what comes with its standard package, traveler charger or ..with 2 batteries..etc.?
The Lid can be taken off pretty simple.. hope you have long nails 😮
It came with headphones, charge, cradle and a mem-stick.
The only thing REALY bad about this phone is the battery's life.. if you take some pictures, messing with the calender and making some calls - it only last about 6 hours.
well because hardly no one posts the actual live photos of the P800 in here i decided to show you the real thing......no BS

No way!! battery life that bad?? How come? All info say that it's batter is 390 hours standby!!
Then it's worse than a Fujitsu Pocket Loox in battery terms.
Remember that if it is a prototype the batery might have had some intense use before the unit was sold.
Or the other way around, being a brand new batery it has not atained its peek performance.
ohwell, now that i dont take picture all the time + showing off it's nice videoplayer - the battery last for a day..

None of that would justify the battery lasting just 6 hours. I have read other reviews that say the battery life is tremendously shorter than what is claimed on the SE website.
I heard that when you use PDA+Games+MP3 and so on very intensely, it will last for about a day, which I think is fine since you can put it in your desk stand while you're asleep
I've a P800 pre-release, but I can use it for 2 day without problems; I've BT and GPRS connection already active...
PS do you have sw for P800?
Gino
Salve Ginomi!
Can you tell us if/how can you crash your pre-comercial P800?
Playing MP3s?
Playing games?
Inserting/removing the memory card with the phone ON?
Can you play MP3s files straight from the memory card or you have to transfer them first to the main memory?
Please share with us your opinion on your P800 so far.
