OK, I'm stumped. I've got an N70 (loan from Nokia PR), which works normally in every respect, apart from that when I plug in the Pop-Port USB lead, no connection icon is shown on the standby/status pane and nothing shows up on the PC either.
The lead and PC Suite install (6.6) work perfectly with my 6630, 9500 and all other Nokia devices.
I've tried a hard reset, there's no exp card, is there anything else that comes to mind before I send the thing back? All I can think of is that the Pop-port electronics are shot....

Interestingly, it's started working one time in four now.... bah! Computers!!!!
Wish I'd trained to be a plumber or carpenter or something simpler....

Its probably a dodgy usb cable mate. I have the exact same problem, when you move the cable slightly around the pop port it will suddenly show up in windows, then when you let go again it loses it 😡
There was a similiar thread on here not long ago, and replacing the cable cured the problem.. Good luck
get pc suite 6.7. and check the connectopors of the cable, have any of the gold bits got stuck in the conntor thing?

I've switched to 6.7 and have started using a new cable, and it seems a lot more reliable 8-))
