Application quits without reason — Nokia 7610 and 6670

Can anyone help me with this one.

I have installed an app called 3D Tracking.

It takes the signal from my BT GPS unit and stores it on the phone at preset intervals.

If desired, you can upload the log to a server and view a track of the locations on the internet.

The problem I have is that when I run the software on my phone, it quits after a random length of time for no apparent reason.

Has anyone else had this problem with either the same or a different app and can anyone shed any light on what might be the problem.

This generally happens when there is an error with the applications (sometimes a memory leak), although it can be the OS too. You're probably best off reporting this to the developer.

I did wonder about that sort of problem.

I had it set to the wrong GPRS point and it quit whenever it tried to send data.

It reported a server fail and then quit.

It doesn't seem to cope with any error it encounters. I just didn't know if it was the app or the OS shutting it down.

I'll email the developers and see what they say.
