Can anyone help as im pretty new to all this!
I have a Nokia N70 and have recently had the software updated on it to:
V 3.0546.2.3
18-11-05
RM-84
I had this done free of charge as I keep losing connection whilst trying to send files from my pc to the phone!
Does anyone know what is the best Bluetooth dongle to use as im sure the one is im using is no good.It uses 'IVT Bluesoleil' software plus the transfer rate is pretty slow as ive seen ones which are alot faster.
I also use a BT 1040 PCI card for my internet connection and have noticed Bluetooth on the 'Device Manager' page on my pc.Can I use that in anyway???
Any help would be most appreciated!!!!
Thanks Mike
With my experience, do u installed another application (windows) that will use ur BT as a connection? U must close it 1st.
Is that the Windows XP SP2 pack? How do I do that?
I think its has something to do with the Nokia PC Suite i installed when i got the phone as file transferring seemed ok before i installed it.
Gonna uninstall it and see how I get on!
It's better if u've WindowsXP SP2. AFAIK, XP updated the BT generic driver with SP2. Try to turn off firewall. Go to "Nokia 3230" forum. U'll find there a topic called "IVT bluesoil" problems. Maybe ur problem is there.
Otherwise, reinstall PC Suite/Windows maybe will fix ur problem
Have at last sorted the problem! The Nokia PC Suite I installed was the one that came with the phone and it was an older version than the 6.7 one.
I can at last now connect via Bluetooth to it 😊
I just hope I dont lose the connection when sending data from the PC to the phone via PC SUite or IVT
Thanks very much for your help!!!!
