the symbian signed test criteria mention "TOOL 3" during the MEM-02 test.
i logged into my Symbian Signed account on the Symbian Signed website to get
TOOL 3 and now im a bit confused.
MEM-02 seems to indicate that TOOL 3 is some sort of app, exe, widget that
simulates a low memory condition while my application is running. However
on the pre-test tools page of the Symbian Signed site it says about TOOL 3:
"File storage upload can be simulated by uploading a file to fill the
selected mass storage device."
Im thinking that either i dont understand this or the symbian signed test
criteria are incorrectly referenced or the symbian signed site is out of
date.
Can someone help me out here?
Where can i get TOOL 3 from?
Cheers
PL
Hi
The symbian signed tools page indicates that you don't need an actual tool
for this - if you fill up the available free disk storage manually that is
suffficient.
Don't ask me why a tool isn't provided to do this for you (since it would be
easy enough to do - I don't know!). Anyone else had an answer before on
this?
