hi guys, i am really a newbie in smybian phone.
i wil like to set my ringtone to a mp3 from the mmc card,
but at the profile there, when i select change ringtone, its seems to display the default ringtone from the phone memory only.
can some one guide me how to do it?

I dont see what the problem is... in the list of ringtones you can choose from, your phone recognises files from both the phone and MMC - and will list them in alphabetical order. You can quickly recognise mp3's as they will have .mp3 file extension.
So in theory... If you have an MP3 file in ur MMC, it will appear in the list of ringtones that are available along with all the default rintones loaded on the phone.
in the mmc card, do we have to specify a folder name?
or just dump anywhere will do?
could it be, it cant read my mmc mp3?
but i can listen to my mp3 from the phone....
argh, what could be the prob.
by the way, i am using a 512 card, instead of the 32 given free.
does it matter?
Try to put the .mp3 files under E:\Sounds\Digital\*.mp3.

u try to move ur mp3 into the original music folder which automatic create by ur phone...i also facing this problem last week..but i've settle :redface: :redface:
