i hav some Q's regarding bt
1. After i connected the bt device via the bt systray how do i disconnect my phone from the pc
2. when i use Bemused and then i close the bemused server the error msg pops up and i can;t get rid of it
3. Is it safe to akways turn on the Bt on the phone
4. is it safe to turn on and off frequently on the phone

Just Off it from your phone. Connection -> Bluetooth -> Off

No ideal...

Yeah why not? But at the expense of your battery

No problem at all... Symbian is a stable OS

If you do leave it on, it may be worth changing the phone's visibility to "hidden", just to make sure people don't keep sending you random stuff!
I know I am not a newbie, but ...
Just wondered whether anyone new if the "Socket Bluetooth GPS for Pocket PCs" might be rigged up to talk to a 7650. Seems a shame to have such a device limited to only the PPC world.
The infosync article http://www.infosync.no/news/2002/n/2654.html seems to imply it will talk to any BT device with serial port enabled ... does that then exclude the 7650. Of course one would need some decent sw to run on the phone and make use of it too ... but I can think of a few (uses that is).
Alternatively, are there any other GPS devices that work with BT that have sw for the 7650.
Second question:
Have we worked out yet which is the best VFM on BT dongle/USB devices.
I want my BT USB adapter to work with all BT devices I might get ... so are there any limitations?
