I'm using a N6630 with a memory card of 64mb. I find it difficult 2download videos of about 250kb into my phone. I always get a msg saying file size is too
large
pls if u can solve this problem, kindly assist me. Thank u.,

The easiest way to do this is to purchase an USB card reader for your memory card and use this to copy large files directly to the memory card (clearly you need to remove the memory card form the phone before doing this).

Me too, with my old phone the Nokia 3230. Everytime I try to d/l a themes via the Nokia 3230 'Web' browser from Nokia site, always with error something like "not enough space" or "size is too big" even I had deleted unnecessary files on my C drive. Wondering why?

This is because such downloads (web / bluetooth) get saved to the internal memory first and (if applicable) are only later transferred. This means you normally need twice the space of the file + maybe 25% free.

Thanks alot Rafe, but here is my case. Take 4example... I try 2 d/l a 500kb file, i hav 2900kb free space on my phone & 13mb space on my memory card, and stil yet i get a msg that file is too large. I mean come on, i've got enough space both on my phone & memory card, so why dont i get 2 d/l these videos. Its painful. So pls have u got any other bright idea.
Holla back ok. Thank u once again 4ur help.

Hmm beyond what I said above I'm honestly not sure. It could in theory be a limitation imposed by your operator on large files as thing go though the access gateway.

Nokia has its own d/l manager app for themes. Even I try to d/l it with Opera (can save d/l to MMC), the d/l mgr always save it to phone memory.

It's FAR better and quicker to just put the files on the card directly. Card readers are now under ten pounds and it makes no sense for any Symbian smartphone owner not to have one plugged into their USB port.

Try to send using bluetooth link not a cable connection

I was trying to get a theme from phone. Not PC 😊 With Nokia's default browser, it'll always safe downloaded data to phone memory (there's no option to save it to MMC like messages to MMC or MsvDriveE was).
