I have installed my PC Suite and i use a USB dongle with IVT BlueSoleil software. How do i connect my 6600 to my phone. in my Nokia Connection Manager when i click Bluetooth it says "media type is not supported. Check your system for media settings." When i use serial port connection it says the port is already in operation because IVT BlueSoleil uses COM 6 and Com 7 when i check there in My Services properties. if I select Com 6 or Com 7 in nokia connection manager, i cant select it in mRouter and if select in mRouter i cant do it in the connection manager. So how should I connect it through bluetooth?
PC Suite Bluetooth Problem
Have you tried updating to the latest version of PC Suite (www.nokia.com/pcsuite/)?
I had a similar problem with my DKU-2 cable - the latest verision of PC Suite was installed - but the cable was being detected as not there - drivers installed and everything.
It worked fine with blue tooth. I had to unistall the drivers and PC Suite then reinstall them. Still did not work.
I tried another version and it worked - and it worked. Both Bluetooth and cable work.
Nokia PC Suite 6.6(or 6.7) does not work with 6600, it has the old mRouter PC Suite
dude, i think that its not related to the version...Wat u do is
1) Firstly uninstall the suite u hav in ur system now.
2) install the pc suite that came with ur mobile.
3) Now,while installing pc suite freshly, dont think abt anything and keep clicking "Next" during the installation without any delay. So this means that u r not installing nokia connection manager at all..Remember keep clicking NEXT while installing.Dont bother abt anything....
4) BELEIVE me>>>This really helped me though it may seem 2 silly.
