Camera Shutter Sound - N70

nope it cannot,unless you put the phone into silent mode even then the flash still lights up slightly when taking a pic regardless if set to on or off

I think 3rd party app can do it.

If it cant be turned off, can the sound file be deleted?

turn your warning tones in the selected profile off. the camera will not produce any sound.

how do you turn off your warning tone?

Profiles > Personalize > Warning Tones > Off

The easy way is put the phone in Silent - Profile!

Turning off warning sounds also turns off the battery low warning sounds,

But what about the Led flash then? When you choose off it still goes on!

N70 has been designed to make discrete/secret filmings hard. When you take a picture in whatever mode, the flash will light up for a moment signalling that you're taking a picture. Same when u're taking a video. There is no available option to turn off sounds except by switching to Silent mode but you'll always have the flash blinking.
