Hey guys, i would really appreciate some help on this issue please.
I was using a 256MB RS-MMC (bytestor) with my 6260. I upgraded in January to the N70. But the N70 does not recognise my MMC at all. I have since been using the 64 MB card provided with the N70.
I also have another 32 MB card and my 6260 recognises all 3 cards nut the N70 only recognises the 32 and 64 MB cards. I read somewhere that you need to Format it and make sure its FAT which i have done so but the N70 still does not recognise it..
Any idea what's wrong...?
Thanks in advance! :icon14:
Hi , i myself is using a Kingston 512MB MMC Mobile ... It work totally fine for my N70 and Nokia 7610 ...
but previously when i put it into my nephew's 6630 , it got corrupted .... as the layout of the mobile phone ... so i recommended that u format ur 256MB ... and try ....
Or format with N9210 or digital camera.
Try checking if the password is still set on that MMC. and
Yes it is correct N70 needs a Dual Voltage RS-MMC. so try using a DV one or Check on the RS-MMC that is bundled on it. check if it works. N70 and other Phones from kokia that needs a DV RS-MMC is not backwards compatible with other mmc.

MMCMobile is the branded name for "dv rs mmc".
Same thing.
Not really. MMCmobile card supports high[er]-speed data transfer (have more leads/connectors). There are also Dual-Voltage RS-MMC cards without high-speed support (and they can't be called MMCmobile).
Curiously, my ATP 1gb does not reference "MMCMobile" anywhere on the card or packaging yet still has faster (according to specs) transfer rates than cards branded "MMCMobile".
