I was intrigued to see Mobile Review's four-part, two month test of the P990, given that the firmware isn't even finished yet and that the smartphone isn't due until some time in July, but there's still plenty of interesting facts and screenshots if you're waiting patiently for this device. Watch out for the dodgy English throughout though, the whole review's one big translation from the native Russian!

I am very eager to see how the P990 rates on your grid Steve. With multitasking in the picture again, I'm hoping this will be a real contender. I just hope its fast and that web browsing over wi-fi doesn't dissapoint like the 9300i.
Does the fact that wi-if is only 802.11b make a big difference?
We shouldn't knock the translation. If it weren't for this so to speak "dodgy" English translation, we wouldn't even have the slightest benefit of this review (unless you are fluent in Russian). Give them a break!
The point about mentioning the dodgy translation(!) was that I was building up anticipation for a proper AAS review, written in impeccable English 8-)
Steve
I don't think its entirely fair to write a review based on what is clearly not the final software. It's common knowledge that with smartphones the hardware might look like final, but the software part is still being worked on. There is value for readers when you for example only review final versions.
