you will find how to do it at the end of the phone user manual.. at the
troubleshooting chapter...
1- turn off the phone then remove the battery for 10 or 15 seconds
2- put it back in then turn the phone on
3- when the nokia logo appears press the option key ( the key on the left under
the navigation keys) and then the menu key ( the one below it) then press and
hold the middle key on the right tell the screens turns black and ask you if you
want to continue
4- proceed and wait for 2 or 3 minutes ...
5- you are done
For soft reset,enter the following:
*#7780#
It'll ask you "Whether you want to reset the phone..",say "Ok" then enter the secret code(Default is:12345)..Then your phone will reboot and it'll be set to factory default settings..
