which program can i use to open this file { Contacts.cdb }
on my computer

The cdb file is not PC version file but rather it's a Symbian file type. Not even notepad can view it. I have tried once... it's all in ascii code.

Excuse for my bad english...

How can you copy this file on your computer? With efilemanger i cannot do this because it says that this file is used by system......i'd like use this file like a backup of my contacts.. :roll:

When you backup your phone with PC suite, the file gets backedup as well.
its in the directory where you assigned your backups to be.

Give Jukka an email at [email protected] and see if he can help you. He gave me a few pointers on how to back it up even when my PC Suite didn't work. lol

The only item that i'd like to save is the contacts file......does exist a way to save this file without pc suite?
