i've been shooting some video's lately, and ii've found the video's shot in high quality mode with sound on really don't play that smooth and fluid. Like they stutter for a split second after every 4-6 secs when i pplay them in my computer.
Is this supposed to happen or my N70 is crapped up??
N70 video recording question.
By any chance, is this an Orange N70?
If so...then I have the same problem...videos open with PvPlayer from the Gallery...which doesn't give a fluid playback for some reason...the only way for smooth video is to open RealPlayer, and then open the video clip within.

No its not Orange. I've actually transferred the shot video clips to my computer and playing it through Quicktime. Even then it stutters after every 4-6 secs.
Can anybody else confirm this please? If video clips recorded on high with sound on do stutter when playing in computer? :con?
Edit -
Okay i found the problem. It was my 1gig Samsung Rs-DV. I set the memory to phone, it played smoothly with no stuttering. I inserted the 64mb card n70 originally came with and set the memory back to mmc and even then the recording went very smoothly.
So i inserted back the 1gb rs dv, then i formated it like 2 times (loosing over 700mb's of mp3's!). I'm now testing it, its recording smoothly now with very less/unoticeable stuttering here and there (like 2-4 split second stutters in a minute)
Is this normal? Anybody here using 1gb card and recording smoothly? If so please tell me what make is your card. Maybe Samsung isn't the right mmc for my mobile.
All smooth here on a 512MB card.
Steve
I've a Kingston 512MB DVRSMMC. Video did stutter when I upgraded to V3 firmware - but was fine after a reformat.
As for playing back on the PC, I use K-Lite Codec Pack with Windows Media Player Classic.
Try to find what speed your card runs at - think mine is around 7-8MB per second.

Working fine on ATP 1gb and aData 512mb.
