SX1 data transfer on Linux

I'd like to inquire about a method for transferring data from an SX1 to a PC running Linux. I tried to run the Siemens data suite on Linux using WINE but I failed.

but didn't understand exactly what should I do, as I'm relatively new to linux.

Get an MMC card reader which works under linux. Probably the easiest solution.

You're right, also bluetooth or infrare could be used, but I meant a method to do the transfer through usb. I'm still searching for a solution.
