Help needed with 6680 version

Last month i bought a nokia 6680 from india and then moved to finland, and my firmware version is

V 3.04.37
01-06-05
RM-36

i got to know that nokia has released the new versions and when i contacted the nokia service providers in Helsinki, Finland they are saying that i have to pay for this update as i didnt buy my phone here.

Any help in this regard, as i am not in a position to go to India right now and its a shame that NOKIA isn't providing global warranty.

Looking forward to your replies and if there is any otherway out for upgrading the firmware.

thats the way it is, depends on your warranty, in saudi arabia, most warranty's cover all of the middle east, it just depends on yours,

Edit: if you want to send your phone to me in canada, i can update the firmware for $50 but i dont think ull do that
