Hi as you all know that the supplied headphones with N70 (HS-3) are of lower quaity+ uncomfortable.
So i searched WWW to find High quality Headphones compatible with N70, i found Nokia Hs-61, Shure e2c and i2c, Creative EP-630, KOSS PortaPro, Boxwave etc
I wana know that any one of you experienced any 3.5 quality headphone with N70 if so how was your experience plz let others know....
thanks.
sorry to let u know that the ones i tried were perfect, maybe yours are just defective great sound quality
has anyone noticed that when using the hds-3 headset the pop port conenctor can be easily knocked out?
I am currently using KOSS PortaPro with a modified (soldered) HD-3 adapter
and the PowerMP3 Player, GREAT sound quality!
Still I have to say I think the sound quality from the HS-3 is not so bad either,
even if not comparable to the KOSS PortaPro.
The KOSS PortaPro headsets are very easily driven by the N70 and PowerMP3
player, and you can even tune up the sound volume by using the equaliser
on the MP3 player with little or no distortion.
Nokia has also released a new Pop-port to 3.5mm adapter with microphone,
the Nokia AD-46. Have not tried this, but would expect to achieve same
results as I do.
Recomended
I made a similiar thread where Messus said the same thing, which made me also buy the N70 along with Ad-15 accessory. And i can say N70 more or less better than any dedicated Mp3 player out there. I'm using very cheap Panasonic SBC-145 portable headphones and sound quality + volume is damn near amazing on PowerMp3 application. I compared a song on both n70 and my PC(n70 through PowerMp3 and PC through Winamp) both on highest volumes (i even maxed out the volume at the volume control panel, i got the N70 on highest in powermp3, the decibel level just a point above middle) and there was really no difference in volume or sound quality - Literally!!
Get the ad-15 accessory, its really good. Then plug in any 3.5mm headphones which are good.
I'm looking for the AD-46 but none of the shops in my area stock this yet. 😞 With a built in mic it means you don't have to unplug the adaptor to answer a call as is the case with the AD-15.
I'll just have to patient I guess 😡 🙄

p.s. I really hate the HS-3 headset. Quality is fantastic, comfort is abysmal, it seems the headphones were designed with someone who has ears the size of dinner plates.
does anyone find that the poport conenctor just comes out really easily on the hds-3
