Hi, i have recently bought a nokia 6680 smartphone and it was working fine untill suddenly without any warning the gallery of the phone stopped working. i can access the gallery but it shows no files in there. it is most odd because i know i have photos and music on my phone because i can access them via file manager. its weird because it shows that there is nothing in there when i know there is.
can anyone help.????

-Try safe mode with or without MMC.
-If the gallery data store in phone memory, then try to pull out ur MMC and try again with/without safe mode.
-Mostly, kind of problem like this, u've corrupted data or MMC.

that has worked, it now shows me the origional phone sample photos, videos and music when the memory card is not in. Do you think i should delete all the data on my memory card to try to get rid of the corrupted file that is causing the problem?
-How about 'safe mode' with MMC, can u take a look for the image?
-Just try to take a look for corrupted MMC. I'm so sure that u've a corrupted MMC.
-Well, if u think that is nothing important with all of the data in ur MMC, why not ? just delete them all. If there is important data or a big file, use card reader to save (backup) it to PC 😉 That's a good way if u have many important data on MMC also many big file.
how do i look in safe mode?
i have used the pencil key etc way, but is it obvious when your in safe mode? it just looks like normal to me
Well, actually u won't c the different.
i did what u said in the link you sent me, i put the card in my mmc reader, but there was nothing that looked like it shouldnt, i even scanned it with anti-virus software and nothing was detected. it all seems to be working ok apart from showing no files in the gallery.
U browse ur card reader by '7tools' and there is no several invalid partions in red?
I think u should format ur phone and don't forget to backup important data 1st such as contacts, mail etc. If format phone won't help u, then format all (phone & MMC). If not help too, I think the problem is with the data (corrupted/bad data).
