Just bought a 6680 off Ebay, and I'm on 02.
The seller clearly says the phone is unlocked. I therefore thought that it was unlocked from new.
However, after the auction ended - and I won - he emailed back saying it had been on Vodafone but he had it unlocked.
My question - will the phone be ok for me to use on 02? I always thought that these phones - once locked - were impossible to unlock?

Vodafone will unlocks for a small fee so i guess thats how he had it done and it should be ok with your o2 sim except you wont have the o2 settings (wap etc) which you will need to get from o2.

Phew - hope it will be ok, thanks for the info. I'm ok with getting the settings from 02, cos I'm with 02 Online, you can all the SMS / MMS / WAP / GPRS settings from their website, done it few times now when I've bought phones sim free.
