Hi to everyone! I'm new here. I live in Milano (Italy), then please excuse my worst english :tongue:
I have a Nokia 6680 brand '3' (h3g). I tried to install Nokia pc suite following instructions step-by-step. The software/driver installation seems to be ok but when I connect the phone via dku-2 cable and I run, for example, the Installer application in the right window, in the combo, there's written (maybe wroten?.. 🙄 ) "Impossibile rilevare il contenuto del telefono" that is impossible to find telephone content.. As a matter of fact when I try to installa an app (.sis .jar or what you want) i get an error. I also tried to uninstalla and reinstall all, but nothing to do.. Even with the latest version of Pc Suite downloaded directly from Nokia.it... :frown:
What do you think I can do?

Did ur phone already installed "PC Suite support" ? and if I'm not mistaken, there are several driver available at Nokia site (6680). Maybe could help u?

What did you mean with the first question? Care the rest I know about drivers on the site but nokia it recommends to install nokia pc suite that just includes drivers.. Do you think it is a better way installing first drivers and then software?

Yeah, I know the USB DKU driver utility included with PC Suite.
What I mean is when the 1st time I use PC Suite, I got .SIS application asking me to install on my phone (send by PC Suite). There are three file there. SMSSync.SIS, PC Suite support.SIS & MMSSync.SIS. Maybe related with ur problem 😊
BTW, I'm not using USB DKU. I'm using BT as the connection. Are u using WinXP SP2?
Mmmhh.. Yeah, now that I'm thinking on (I mean that I remember a thing 😊 ) I remember that in my phone exists somewhere an icon called Pc Suite ... And I can't delete it...

No, there's no icon exist on phone about PC Suite. Take a look on 'manager' or maybe the 'sync' progress?
Reset is the last way. How about to repairing again with the new password? If not, well just reset 1 by 1 such as reset pc suite, phone and windows 😊
Francesco, the mesaage you get in Nokia Application Installer about not able to show the content of phone (the installed applications) it is a feature, not a bug. YOu cannot see the installed applicaitons from Symbian phone. If you use for example 6230i or any Nokia S40 phone with the same PC Suite, then the applications are visible. So that is a limitation of phone, not PC Suite.
The SIS package that will be installed to your phone relates to capability to send SMS's, nothing to do with Application Installer.
Do not touch the PC Suite profile in phone, you will only mess up the PC Suite.

Today i've been near a nokia center.. The guy, with its cable and its pc suite, told me that all worked fine.. He had been able to install an app... Then there's some problem or in my cable or... I don't know.... 😞
All seems to go perfectly... but i can't upload or download anything... Always appears the same error message... Error during the operation... I can't run out of it :cry:
I've also tried on different PCs.. But always the same problem....
I noticed another strange thing... If I try to install latest version 6.7.22... Nothing works..

Try it without MMC inserted. If working, I think u've a corrupted MMC.
