I have a RS DV MMC 64mb. I never changed code except for the phone's security code. I have tried detaching the card for a few times and never asker for password.
recently, im asked for a password. i've already tried the defautlt code '12345' but was unsuccessful. i also tried entering the new phone security code but of no avail..
what should i do? what's the default password for this?

So, u've take a look on 'menu>tools>settings>security', right?
Did u reccently installing a new app in ur phone?
If u forget the password (security code or 'lock code'😉, there's no way except to bring the phone to nearest Nokia.
what are you asked for.
a coide to use the phone or a code to use the memory card??

It all started when my phone was getting crazy.
1. dialing randomly my contacts on its own thru voice tags
2. seeing headset symbol even nothing is attached/connected to the phone
so that i can only hear calls with headset attached.
3. suddenly shuts down when listening to voice tags that i never assigned
I tried to follow your advice to restore the original setting hoping that it would help.I first copied all the pictures from my phone memory to memory card. i never changed any password of the memory card, if there is any. I only changed before the security code of the phone. Then, i removed the memory card just before the restoration. When the orginal setting was restored, i put back the card...'Memory card password:' is asked until now. Even entering the security code of the phone, it still incorrect..
I have successfully done before removing the card and putting it back without
any problem..I did not install any application i was even removing them..
The restoration partially worked because the phone stopped dialing on its own but i could still see the headset symbol on my 'desktop' and i still need to attach the headset on every calls..
any suggestions?

it was your advice to another user to restore that i followed. I browsed it somewhere. im not sure if it is in this forum or somewhere else . .I was not on me. i just thought that i might work..

1. Looks like a virus. Try to clean it using any antivirus app with last update.
2. Usually, this is a h/w problem so only Nokia capable to check it but could be virus too.
Restore original setting doesn't change any password entered.
