I own a 6680,without any GPRS internet connection
sometime im sitting on my bed infront of the computer and wodering : is there any way to connect to the internet trough the BT Dongle??
I mean I want to surf "somekind" of websites in my cell (6680) trough the Blutooth that is connected to my computer which is connected to the internet

im using WinXp Sp2
thanks in advance

according to me bluetooth is only meant for transfering between two bluetooth enabled devices.. and accessing internet is possible only from one of the device either computer (with internet connection) or through cell phone (with GPRS connection)..

As per my knowledge you cant merge two bluetooth devices to acces the internet which requires huge transfering of data.

i checked gnubox. all looks very good - but both this thread and the gnubox website use 'BT' as there Internet Service Provider. Surely this will still work with a different ISP (ntl)? And any normal bluetooth dongle?

Please IGNORE what i have just said! 3 very late nites :frown: and my brain just didnt make the connection between Bt and bluetooth! jeez im an idiot! sorry! lol 😊
