remove applications from nokia 6630

Hello,

I have a problem with my nokia. Most of my installed applications are not visible in "Manager" and I can't remove them. I try to reset the phone - this not helps 😞

In sort I want to remove some (or all) applications installed from me. Is this possible ?

Yes, I know that I should see them, but I can't 😞 I see 3 applications, but I have maybe 10 installed. Once again I'm talking about applications installed by me on memory card (not Built-in)

I already did 'hard reset' of my phone as is descibed in your link and with one code - the result - my phone is reseted correctly (all my settings was lost) , but these applications are still here - I can see and run them.

Then I try one program AppMan from SymbianWare - with this program I can see all information from my applciations, but I can't remove them. 😞

Maybe I have to format my memory card ? (but I don't know how)

I have tryed this too:

Deep Reset (*#7370#) : This reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten.

i had a problem on myn N6680 trying to remove an applicaton although it was not as persistent as your problem. have you tried taking ur memory card out, putting it in a card reader and deleting absolutely everything off it? then do hard reset again without the memory card. might work.....

may be this will be solution - delete everything from merory card in some card reader ... but I'm not sure about directory structire - should I keep it ?

I mean that on memory card I have some folders ... should I keep them all ?

if you know the apllications which you cannot delete then just delete those files of the memory card. if not you could get exactly what you know you need/want on the memory and save it to ur computers hard drive. then totally delete the memory - everything off it the simply copy and paste the stuff u had saved from ur hard drive to memory card. Also i stilll think after doing this it would be best to hard reset ur phone without memory card and then ur phone will not 'remember' these apllications ever being used with the phone. Try this.... I reckon thatll do the trick:icon14:

I fix it ... very simple solution - format memory card via phone interface .

I try to delete all files with card reader, but I got message that they are "write protected".

:icon2: Password protected?

:icon2: Infected with CardBlock.A virus?

:icon2: Pull out the card reader for a while or try to plug another USB dev like flashdisk.

I ever got that problem too, also with Linux.
