So there I am having taken about 20 or 30 MP4 movies on holiday - anyone got any tips on a simple way of joining them all together? My patience won't stand opening each file individually and waiting 10 minutes while Quicktime Pro exports each to AVI...
There *has* to be a simple utility for stitching these things together! Any ideas?

Well, yes, for trivial clips. I tried selecting my 30 mins worth of video and just the first pass claimed it was going to take an hour of processing on my N70! I gave up after 20 mins and had to reboot the phone....
Joining MP4s is surely more a job for something powerful like a PC?

well thats the only option i have used.
i would just connect it to the charger & let it run all night!
I use Adobe Premier Standard but then I was lucky enough to have the software bundled on my Sony Vaio laptop.

i've found this app mp4UI quite quick to convert to avi but have to export video and audio seperatly then stick em together in Premier or Windows movie maker or something
😊 With "Nero Vision" is a simple task, and can be exported to mpg2 file.
Then, burn a DVD, and watch the movie(s) in TV.
Easy, and direct!
