Internet via Bt Problems/Capabilities

Hello all - i used kewlsymbians guide on the the N70/N90 forum to try and connect my N6680 to the internet via a bluetooth dongle; it didnt work :icon4: I did everything it said to do but wen i try to connect to the web on my mobile it refuses to work! Has anyone any ideas? :con? My other question is to question the capabilities of this WHEN (not if!) i get it working...... is it possible to connect to sites from which you can send free sms from and send these from my mobile phone? :icon2: Then i could simply copy and paste a contacts number to it? Would this free* connection get me cheaper multimedia messages? Can anyone else think of any other useful things that could be done using this connection? 🙄 I intend to retrieve emails to my phone and (if possible) stream radio. Any help/suggestions would be gratefully welcomed. :icon14: Cheers

well..... i followed what u said in your guide (except i used the 6680 gnubox app) everything went ok until i tried to connect to the net using the BT connection. It timed out. Any ideas? The only problem i could thionk of was with the COM port? ive now tried putting it on anotjher computer and the 'setup wizard' does not come up after installing mRouter - so it can't find the bluetooth dongle and therefore can't find my phone! ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice but the same thing happens! Its a really nice idea getting to work is the problem!!! :icon14:
