Introducing SAVE - a new high-tech theft-protection software for Symbian series60 phone.
What it does ? How it works ?
Once installed, you can set 5 contacts (friends or family) to receive "theft-alert". If your phone ever get stolen and the thief changes the sim card, your phone will automatically and silently send sms to your 5 contacts without the thief knowing at all. The sms will contain information about the new phone number, IMEI, IMSI and its GSM location code. You can then either call the perpetrator to return the phone. Or lodge police report, with these detailed information, and have the service provider track the exact location of the phone. Is that cool ?
You can also set SAVE to automatically delete all your contact info, pics, videos, etc. .. so that the thief can never get to it... protecting your privacy. Cool ?
For daily use, you can lock sms from selected people to keep them from privy eyes.
