hi guys,

have you ever notice that when you remove someone from your contacts, it gains on Kb ? what i mean is, i removed about 3 persons from my contacts, i went to manager, checked my memory, what do i see? it's 277 kb! ( i know it's not that much 😃 ) but how come, cuz before i started deleting it was on 254 kb !! 😮

i was like WTF !!

anybody can help me??

That is because of the way that the contacts database is beeing hadled, its not beeing defragmented at the same time you delete the contacts.Try creating more contacts and see if the contacs size encrases,it should not, cause it should use the space created by the prior contacs deletion.
For the record,i'm not really sure about this.

Find the 'Contacts mem usage problem' subject in Forum, I answered this question and there is a real solution there...it works!

happens all the time brother. give it a few days, say a couple or 4, and you should your memory increase - that is of course if you didnt add anything after deleting the contacts.

one more tip, when you delete contacts, try to consolidate first all that you want to delete by using the mark/unmark option - i think in that way u get a clear perspective of the memory you restore after deleting. 😃
