How do i check phone memory and... — Nokia 6630, 6680, 6681 and 6682

how do i completely free up?
I have 512 memory card (240 Mb free) and my 6680 run very slow.
FIRMWARE V 3.04.11 (April 2005)

further, how do i fully format my 6680? and save data before formatting?

What type of data you want to save?
If contacts, messages, settings, calender entries & bookmarks then connect your phone to PC Suite 6.6.16 (6.7 is latest but it will backup your whole memory, 6.6.16 is better because in this you can chose what you want to backup only one thing i mentioned above or all of them)
and latest one is faulty for some people.
Now one thing more if your sms freak then change the settings of your message application From phone to MMC.
Some time phone is slow because of sms's memory.
After backing up switch of your phone, take out MMC (I do it just as a safe side) while your phone OFF press three buttons
"green key(answer key)" + "the 3 button" + "the * button"
hold them at the same time dont leave them. Now press power key to ON your phone and remember still you dont leave these keys, till you get a window asking you to chose your city for time.
Thats what you have to do. Now go to menu and press option and see memory details.

It means you should change your message settings.
Go to message > options > settings > others > memory > change it to MMC instead of Phone.(so phone memory stays free and your phone dont get slow becasue of shortage of memory)

I did this on 6600, 7610, 6670, 6260, 6630. all worked OK..

I dont think so they should be pressed in sequence.
Look up that worked Fine with that guy.
But still thank you for the INFO. i will try with your "sequence"😊
