Problems in sending texts on N70 — Nokia N70, N72 and N90

For the past few weeks, I have had problems in sending texts on my N70. At first I thought it was because I had installed the Nokia Patch File 1 but I uninstalled it and the problem is still there. Basically the problem is this:

When I go to send a text, it gets moved to the Outbox. Normally it is then sent a few seconds later. However at certain times, it doesn't leave the Outbox and instead it says "Resend at xx:xx". Although it says it hasn't sent the message, the person I am sending it to DOES get the text. It tries to send it 3 times and then says "Failed". If I let it get to the "Failed" stage, the person would get the text 3 times. Once this problem has happened, it keeps happening. The only way to solve the problem is to reset the phone.

I am on O2 and I would at first say it is a network problem but seeing as the problem goes away when you reset the phone, I am beginning to think it is a phone problem. As I said this has only started happening within the last few weeks.

Any suggestions?

You sure? Why haven't I had the problem since day one then?

cant give you an asnwer to that.
you might have a virus. have you installed any programs?

Yes I do. The only thing I have changed recently is the theme on my phone. I am using the default Nokia one. I have changed it to a different one to see if that corrects the problem.
