Please help!!

I have been surfing now for two days and couldn't find a proper thing. The closest on your forum was somewhere in 2004 for a 6600.

I found Office Suite and Quick Office.

Now. Quick Office came with the software, obviously without the editor. Why pay another US $50.00? Office Suite goes for the same price. Without the exposure of being bundled with the hardware.

I need a exel editor simply to change the quantities on five lines of a invoice. Nothing special. Bought the telephone for this not knowing about the editing bug. Using Office Suite at the moment as shareware. Really enjoy the freedom of not needing to go to the office.

I sincerely hope there is something more affordable out there.

It isn't an editing bug, because QuickOffice bundle or apps come in two flavours; a viewer-only and another with editing capabilities (QuickOffice Premier).

The bundled versions (included with many Nokia models) are viewer-only.

I think there used to be also on option where individual viewer-apps can be licensed/converted to have editing capabilities. In that case you shouldn't need to pay to get the whole Quickoffice Premier package, but just upgrade Quicksheet, if all you need is to edit spreadsheets.

still a bit weird that quick office developers feel the need to limit the product, who needs just a viewer??

not like opera only allow you to browse certain sites

I don't know I think a lot of people just need to check an attachment quickly from their email. No need to edit.
