Ive got a few movies for watching on my phone, but RealPlayer has a large border around the Video which is distracting, ive also tries MMSPlayer, but that has the smae problem.

Are there any video players that can play full screen?

or at least flick into a mode with a completely black background...

thanks...

EDIT: Been searching to forum, seems this is a very common problem ;( Has there been any updates?

Err, my version of Real Player allows full screen video playback.

Start a video... Menu > Imaging > RealPlayer > Options > Open > Saved clip

As soon as the video starts press Pause (left soft key). Then choose Options (again left soft key). Finally, choose "Continue in full scr." et voila your video contines in full screen mode and you have to turn your handset 90 degrees anti clockwise.

just press 2 when playing and it goes to full screen, is a shortcut key

But I use SmartMovie for watching video's. Better quality in video, audio and and and subtitles.

Aww wow, thanks alot!

thats made it alot better, it seems however that because the aspect ratio is different to that of the screen, its still played in a small square, shame, but at least the background is better!

thanks alot guys.

Thanks for the link steve, i just got SmartMovie, and its perfect, the converter app that comes with it it awesome.

Cheers!

I'm trying to watch files from http://www.southparkx.net/ but RealPlayer won't play them...even though its .rm format.

Jon

download them, the convert them in smart movies converter app should run fine

Is the southpark X thing legal?

Free southpark downloads seems too good to be true...

Smartmovie is indeed one of the best apps for a smartphone to have. And now with that version 3.0 (or higher), just perfect for N series phones.

why dont you check it out

I've managed to lose Real Player from my SX1 - has anyone got any suggestions as to how to get it back? I have Smartmovie, but it is not playing the film's sound, that's when I tried looking for Real Player only to find that I must have somehow deleted it.
