I have a 64MB RS MMC, that came with the phone .. and since then i havent changed it. I wanted to buy a 1GB OR a 512MB RS-MMC. But i have a few questions:
Note: I own a 6630.
1) How do i go about buying it, is there any Criteria for an RS-MMC ?
2) What does the 6630 support : Dual Voltage or Single Voltage.
3) Does 1GB slow down the phone usage or take up battery power.
Would appreciate your help and advices.
Regards.

Hello dh,
I've just got 2 pieces of 1Gb DV RS-MMCs for my 6630.
Manufacturer: CnMemory
Price: very fair - less than 40EUR per piece.
Result: +++++
NO speed problems, seems to be much faster than original one.
Capacity: 1 Gb
Transfer speed: 100x
Reading max. speed 14,7 MB/s.
Writing max. speed 8,6 Mb/s.
Not enough?
When using USB 2.0 card reader (e.g. making backup to PC) best result could be achieved.
Life time: 1.000.000 hrs (114 years !!!)
Data keeping time: 10 years
W x H x T: 24mm x 32mm x 1,4mm *
*SD transform adapter included (aprox. double size)
Weight: 1,5 g
Vibration resistance: 15 G
Schock resistance: 1.000 G !!!
You just have to take care about choosing right one - it should be dual voltage type 1.1 and 3.8 V !!!
Since I do not need both one of RS-MMC is available. If you are interested in contact me.
