Trying to get going with VPN

Haven't got a clue what I'm doing

Installed Nokia VPN client
I want i to talk to my OS X servr via WLAN - to do mail

What the heck is all the VPN policy server stuff? Is that Nokia specific?
Do I need a different client?

Has anyone got this - or anything like it - working?

The policy server stuff is Nokia specfic and you need it to create a policy file (separately installable or downloadable from the Nokia policy server) for the Nokia VPN client software to work.

Once that's done it'll work with different VPN gateways (Nokia, CheckPoint, Cisco).

Problem is that as far as I know, the Nokia Security Service Manager server that you need to create the policy files, you get with the Nokia VPN server solution (and without that I don't know of any way to get it).
