N70 Won't Turn on?

Before incident:

I had never dropped the phone. NEVER ever. It also has one of those condomlike rubber covers around it as well, so it won't get damaged if I do drop it.

One day I noticed that I tried to change profiles using the power switch> Silent. The switch didn't work and I had to go through the profile menu. I really didn't think much of it.

Scenario:

One day I left the phone at my friends home, I deceided to retrieve it the next day since he lived far away from me. As I got the phone, I realized it had no charge i the battery and it had drained. I tried turning it on, it wouldn't. So I charged it to full for one whole day. I still couldn't turn it back on.It's charged for 2 days and still nothing. The power switch literally failed for no reason. I live in the U.S.A. and no Nokia repair center is close to me. Any reason for it not to work?

what did your friend to with it, if you said it worked flawlessly before.

Never leave your phone alone, thats a good lesson

maybe the swicth ahs been damanged in some way. try to take off the cover souranding the switch or jsut take the phone back
