Please help me people!
Heres the problem....
I live in northern ireland and am on o2. I have a genie sim card and get my 300 free texts and o2 treat. Great. But when im near the border i lose my o2-uk signal and go onto o2-irl. Then i cant use my treats or my free messsages. Crap. 50p a text, and 99p a minute to receive or make voice calls (and im still in northern ireland!) This is ridiculous! Politically Ireland is two countries and this is not the time or place to discuss this but why can't it be one country as far as o2 are concened? Its not as if theyre a small company!?!? And its not like Ireland is huge, i would understand if it were the same size as america!
Now im not an expert and this may be very stupid but if i cahnged my message centre number from +447802092035 (the uk pay as you go message centre number) to the o2-Ireland pay as you go message centre number... would i be able to send messages at 10p? Because i thought that changing the message centre number would make it appear that i was in my home country and no roaming charge would apply?????
Am i right? Is there any other solution???
Please help - i hope u all agree that this is fcuking ridiculous!!!
