3250 hangs...

please somebody help me out ! my new 3250 hangs for more than 2 mins after sending a message...other things are working really great....it is very irritating that it freezes for 2 mins....please some one help me out asap!!!!!!!😡 😡 😡 😡

i tried reseting the settings and no problem with the sim either....is it possible to flash the software?

I've the n3250, and i haven't this problem. I think you have last generation SIM, and you must upgrade to 128 kb SIM or higher.
If you have either this problem you must send your phone to nokia customer service to upgrade or test your firmware.

when i first bought the cell i had no problems at all...jus 3 days back it hangs for 2 mins whenever i send message ....maybe have to flash the os

Uninstall all unauthorised softwares from your phone - if you have downloaded any - may be that has damaged your Phone'e OS.

Tell about the battery power - when it restarts does the battery power remeins same or the batteruy is also getting down.

Also tell me i you find any Antivirus for your n3250

batt power remains the same...I havent installed any programs so far i wonder what sort of problem is this 😞

When I used to use my nokia 6600 - twice I faced this kind of problems.

For the first time they Nokia Service Center people said - as I had dropped my Phone once in water the internal circuites gets dammaged - at that time my phone used to hang when I try to connect to any Call Conferance

In the Second time the Phone Started to get hanged when ever I tried to Click more than one Photograph at a time - this time the Service center people Flashed My Phones Software and the Phone started working well.

Hope my experiance will help you solve your Problem.

How Old is your Phon???

They are bound to give you free service as per their warranty certificate for 1 year from the date of first purchase of the phone - provided you have all real and relevant documents [purchase bill etc.]....

you can check the battery manufacture date also dialing a special code in your 3250 phone, if you want to know the code write to my email ID - [email][email protected][/email]

It was my uncle who sent to me from Outside India ....anyway i flashed it in my frnds shop for free...now its working terrifically! thanks alot for ur replies

I just bought nokia 3250 for about 2 weeks and I am facing that problem too. it will hangs for about 30 second when sending sms. What should I do?

you need to flash the phone software....go to your service Nokia center they will help you out....just dont try to install any old software anymore....it wil damage the phone...if it is under warrantee period they will do it for free....jus rush it to a service center...its a 10 minute job

The phone worked fine for the first week then all of a sudden today, The phone showed no reception bars or carrier logo. I tried everything, even switching to a manual network. It tells me, No Network Coverage. Sometimes it would reset by itself. Any advice? thanks.

hey every one .. yes the phone hangs for 30sec after messaging and its very annoying .... yes there is a temp solution .. all u have to do is dail *#7370# this will reset ur phone to company defaults.. dont worry about ur sim numbers it will be there even the memory card content.. all u have to worry about is the phone mem .. every thing will be removed and will perform as thought its just out of the company :redface: BUT !! this will be there only for 4 or 5 days .. and u will face the problem of hanging again ... i am not sure if pc format will help or it will perform the same .. i would like to know from some one who has done it ... and one more thing :icon4:
:icon4: find out the manafacture date of the phone ie *#0000# and it will show u the version and the date of manafacture... note : the V 3.18 and below plays good music but where as all the new ones dont .. check it out ur self u will find great difference !

hi to all
i had same problem , and i know when it happen to 3250 !
if your phone's bluetooth be ON for example 1 hour ! it will happen !
check your firmware version , if your version is 3.18 this problem remains all time .
but you can flash your phone to v3.23 and this problem will be solved .
also you should not to live your bluetooth on for longtime

I have the right solution for ur problem

I Face the same problem in my phone 3250 v3.21

Just do this and u will see the diffrence

FORMAT ur phone by ur self

Do this

Turn off the phone and hold those buttons (3+*+call button) while holding

this buttons turn on ur phone and dont reless that three buttons until

formating messege appear.

If u do it right then ur phone will format propley.

wait until formatting process complete then enjoy

Yes formatting solves the problem TEMPORARILY. once you have sent about another 500 sms it starts to slow down again.. Any PERMANENT solutions?

Hey guys...... just wanna thank you all for helping me fix my sms sending problem. I too own a 3250 that hangs for about 2-4 mins when sending an sms. So I researched a bit and found out Nokia solution to all this.

Disclaimers first:

1. Formatting your Phone is a temporary solution (not to mention a hassle to back-up and restore)
2. I Think installing a new version of Nokia's FIRMWARE will be better than the patch... (but they say that v3.23 has an bad audio playback quality... and for a reason i didn't want my phone to have a bad audio quality cuz, being an mp3 player is one of the reason i considered buying it... so i rather choose the patch than the new firmware, besides... there is too much to lose in my phone pics, messages etc.)
3. The patch works for me. (It cured the SMS hangs :icon14: )

:icon4: First it is advisable to reformat your phone using *#7370#
:icon4: :icon4: DONT FORGET TO BACK UP YOUR DATA USING NOKIA PC SUITE BACK UP. BACK UP ONLY THE PHONE MEMORY CUZ' YOU'LL LOSE ALL CONTACTS, PICTURES, MESSAGES... ETC IF IT IS INSTALLED IN THE PHONE MEMORY.

Select SMS Accelerator and download it.

:icon4: It is advisable to copy the installer to the phone then from the phone install it. Dont try to install the SMS Accelerator using the cable it might not install for some reason.

:icon4: Enjoy sending SMS's without the hassle of waiting 2-4 mins. 😊

Haha..First time I got Nokia 3250 , I've face same problem too...try format the phone memory by use this code *#7370#.but remember to make a phone memory back up before format the phone memory...try to refer this site Here ....and then, my Nokia 3250 perform better..... If it's still not work use the above method, try to delete some of yor old messeges....
