commwarrior post-disinfection problem

3 replies · 1,608 views · Started 09 May 2006

i have a nokia 6630.

i stupidly installed commwarrior after it was sent to me via bluetooth (i thought someone was sending me a game ).

looked it up on the internet and used f-secure to delete it.

however, there is a message it tried to send in my outbox. when i try to delete it it says deleting but nothing happens. it says "deferred" underneath as i also ried to move it to another folder.

i tried deleting it by connecting the phone to my pc and using nokia suite but it says thee is nothing in the outbox.

does anyone have any ideas?

Means that you still have infection in your phone either you get Symantec Mobile Virus or you do the full format on your device to clear it out!

I did got the commwarrior once so i get symantec to get rid of it... and it works
If not than format it

Or simply use this procedure:

to wipe away a virus and have a jolly good clearout at the same time 8-)

You have to do this to solve the problem: press (* + and call) keys in the same time until you see the word ''formmating''. Then wait till your phone restarts.
