mac os x and nokia 7650

I use Mac OSX for transfering files back and forth!
If you have 10.2 (Jaguar) the phone will find the Mac straight away. The Bluetooth app is located in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder. If you have an older version of OSX you can download the Bluetooth program from http://www.apple.com/bluetooth/
Unfortunatly OS9 doesn't work with Bluetooth.

Can I ask what files you can transfer? I have tries sending .sis files from iBook to 7650 but just seem to get soft reset and then nothing is installed. Have you succeeded in sending a composite vcard of series of contacts or a calendar? Any tips would be very much appreciated!

I've transfered photos, programs, games, java apps, wav's, and midis from the Mac to the 7650 and vice versa. Never had any problems yet. I haven't transfered any contacts or calendars though. Haven't needed to.
I'm using OSX 10.2 Jaguar, and a 'Mitsumi WIF-0402C' Bluetooth USB adaptor.
Try sending a game or app over and see if it still tries to restart.

Tried dropping .sis files on exchange again and today it worked??? - I think bluetooth is still a bit beta on mac: sometimes I get the spinning beachball on trying to turn off bluetooth from the toolbar and I get the new warning (on Jaguar) that I must press the power key to reboot if I remove the bluetooth dongle while my ibook is sleeping with the lid down. I thought system panics were a thing of the past since I dumped the alcatel adsl frog in favour of the rock-solid hermstedt webshuttle dsl.

I will have to try sending stuff from 7650 to ibook soon.

Spent ages today trying to get nokia suite working on work pc with bluetooth software - uninstalled it in the end. Could never get it to work with eric t68 either.

Is there a tips / faq site for mac and 7650?

I've never had any problems yet, like the spinning beachball or crashes. Just make sure you use the Bluetooth version that came with Jaguar, anything before that was beta!
As for tips/faq sites, I don't know any unfortunatly, I had to figure everything out myself!
