Yes now we can use our mmc card as pendrive. the gud thing in 3230 is whenever u want to remove ur memory card u dont need to swith it off or remove SIM card...
I bought a mmc card reader/writer (just luks like pendrive) and u can use ur phones memory card as pendrive. The card reader dosent ask 4 any other software and acts as a USB pendrive only. It is available on ebay and it costed me around 300 Rs including shippping (thats around 6$ only)...
so why 2 purchase a pendrive seprately....😎
I tried that too, but it didn't work. After I formatted the MMC in the phone, none of the card readers could read the files from the MMC. And I tried around 30 of them, different producers and types. What kind of reader do you have?
Geez man, I'm a total idiot:tongue: How the hell can I read the card with password on it?? That's why none of the memory card readers couldn't access my MMC. Since the card reader works perfect after I removed the password, I bought an 1GB MMC, so now I have plenty of space for movies, mp3's and all other stuff.
Is a MMC card reader required? Can't I just drag and drop ANY file on the phone's MMC using Nokia PC Suite?
Yes, if you have PC Suite, you can use it to copy any file from the PC to the memory card in the phone.
Better then use of PCSuite is the use of the phone like a Pen Drive. N-Gage can do that. 6230 and 6230i, also, without the need of install PCSuite. Now, all new Os9.1 phones, cant do that... what a shame! When connect like a Pen Drive, they change to off-line mode! Why?
